The Muela Tactical 85-181 outdoor knife has an 18 cm 420H stainless steel blade (57–58 HRC), a rubber and black zamak handle and a leather belt sheath, and weighs 290 g.

The Tactical 85-181 is the black zamak version of the 18 cm series: it shares the blade length, weight (290 g) and serrated spine of the gold-plated 85-180, but the black zamak guard and pommel give it a restrained, uniform black-and-rubber look.

The 18 cm blade is the longest in the series, recommended for expeditions, hunting and rough terrain, where the extra reach is a real advantage. The rubber handle gives a non-slip grip, and the 420H steel, with a hardness of 57–58 HRC, is easy to resharpen and rust-resistant. The leather sheath allows convenient carry on the belt.
