The Opinel breakfast knife has a natural beech handle and an 11.5 cm X50CrMoV15 stainless steel blade with a rounded tip: a combined spreading and bread knife for breakfast and pastries.

The blade has two parts: the 7.5 cm serrated section cuts fresh and sliced bread, pastries, sausage and eggs efficiently, while the rounded, spatula-like tip is suited to quickly spreading butter, jam and creamy toppings. This dual function sets the breakfast knife apart from other Opinel ranges: you can cut and spread with the same knife.

The X50CrMoV15 blade, hardened to 56-57 HRC, provides a durable edge and corrosion resistance and is easy to hone. The natural surface of the beech handle and the 21.5 cm overall length allow comfortable, precise movements at the breakfast table.
