The Opinel Effilé is a slim-bladed pocket knife with a traditional beech handle and a stainless steel blade. The Virobloc safety locking ring holds the blade securely both open and closed. Available in sizes No.08, No.10, No.12 and No.15.

The hallmark of the Opinel Effilé series is a blade that is slimmer than usual, suitable for precise cuts and for versatile everyday and outdoor use. The beech handle sits well in the hand and is durable and attractive. The stainless steel blade performs reliably even in damp conditions and needs minimal maintenance.

The Virobloc locking ring, used since 1955, holds the blade securely both open and closed. Opinel knives have been made in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, in the French Alps, since 1890.
