The Opinel Effilé pocket knife with an olive wood handle is the slender-bladed member of the series, with a mirror-polished Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade and a Virobloc safety locking ring. Available in No.10 and No.12 sizes.

The Effilé blade is only 1.5 mm thick and exceptionally slender, giving excellent control for precision cuts: separating meat from the bone, whittling branches, slicing cheese. The mirror polish reduces drag while cutting, so the knife glides almost effortlessly through delicate foods and materials.

The olive wood handle has a natural, warm grain and feels pleasant in the hand. The Virobloc safety ring locks the blade in both the open and closed positions, making the knife reliable to carry outdoors.
