The dark blue edition of the Opinel pruning shears is a garden tool with robust stainless steel blades, a varnished beech handle, a 20 mm cutting capacity and a non-slip polyamide hand guard.

The optimised blade profile reduces the effort needed to cut: thanks to the leverage, even thicker branches (up to 20 mm in diameter) can be cut with even pressure. The beech handle has a round cross-section that suits all hand sizes, and the polyamide coating gives a secure grip even with wet hands.

The dark blue colour distinguishes it from the grass green version, so if you have both in the garden they are easy to tell apart. The upper polyamide hand guard protects the fingers from rebound. The blades are stainless steel, so they stay corrosion-resistant in the rain and among dew-wet plants.
