The Opinel No.08 Outdoor is a pocket knife with a coloured synthetic handle, a partly serrated Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade and a lanyard, with an 8.5 cm blade. Available in orange, blue, fluo green or fluo yellow, in standard or blister packaging.

The brightly coloured handle of the Opinel No.08 Outdoor is instantly visible outdoors, which helps if the knife is dropped or lost. The glass fibre reinforced polyamide is moisture- and impact-resistant. The 8.5 cm Sandvik 12C27-MOD blade has both a 3.5 cm serrated section and a plain edge, and the kit is completed by a ring lock and a shackle key.
