The Opinel No.10 Gardening Knife has a curved Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel blade, a beech handle and a 10 cm blade length: a horticultural model designed specifically for pruning and harvesting plants.
The blade curves upwards, allowing shoots, fruit and vegetables to be cut precisely in a single movement without turning the tool around. Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel does not rust even in a damp garden environment, and the 2 mm blade thickness gives the stiffness needed for the curved cut.
The 10 cm blade is strong enough for heavier gardening work, such as cutting thick shoots or harvesting. The 100 mm beech handle stays comfortable during longer sessions; the overall length when open is 200 mm and the weight is 42.5 g.
