The Icel Pratica chef's knife has a wide 20 cm X50CrMoV15 stainless steel blade and a black polypropylene handle, and is NSF approved, for household and butchery use.

The 20 cm wide-bladed Icel Pratica chef's knife is the most robust piece in the series: the taller blade profile offers more contact surface, ideal for heavier chopping and slicing larger vegetables and meat. The blade is made of X50CrMoV15 (1.4116) chromium steel, which holds its edge well and is easy to sharpen.

The black polypropylene handle is hard, impact resistant and heat resistant, and withstands years of intensive kitchen use. It is NSF approved and can be used in catering and butchery settings. The wide blade offers a larger cutting surface and more power transfer than the plain 20 cm Pratica chef's knife.
