The Merkur 24C is a double-edge safety razor with a closed-comb design and an extra-long handle, recommended for shaving the beard as well as leg and body hair. It was developed as a longer version of the 23C at customers' request: the slim, extra-long handle gives more room to manoeuvre and freedom of movement, even on delicate areas.

The chrome-plated die-cast zinc head is solid and well balanced. This version includes 10 Merkur Super blades. Made in Solingen, Germany.

The slim handle owes its secure grip to diamond-pattern cross ribbing. The chrome-plated, perfectly balanced weight allows a close shave with very little pressure. For extra safety when shaving the body, the long razor head also covers the blade on the short sides. It is easy to hold while changing the blade. The closed-comb safety razor is the all-rounder of classic wet shaving: you intuitively find the best shaving angle and achieve an ideal result straight away. The large blade gap allows a good flow of lather, preventing the razor head from clogging with cut hairs or foam residue.
