The Merkur Solingen 42C safety razor has a closed comb head, a high-gloss chrome finish and a decorated short handle with a screw thread; 8.3 x 4.1 x 2.5 cm, supplied with 1 Merkur Super razor blade.
The 42C is the closed comb version of the Merkur 41C open comb model: the head covers the blade edge smoothly, transfers even pressure to the skin and reduces the risk of nicks and cuts. This design is recommended for beginners and users with sensitive skin: the shave stays predictable and controlled, with the quality you expect from Merkur.
The three-piece construction (head cap, blade, handle) allows quick blade changes. The decorated short handle gives a secure grip, and the high-gloss chrome finish is mirror-bright and long-lasting. Supplied in a paper box with 1 Merkur Super razor blade.
