The Merkur Solingen 46C is a compact travel safety razor with a detachable handle and a chrome-plated die-cast zinc closed-comb head, supplied in a black cowhide leather case; 10.5 x 1.7 x 6.1 cm, with 1 pack of razor blades.

The 46C is designed specifically for travel: the handle unscrews from the head and, packed in the supplied black cowhide case, the set shrinks to 10.5 x 1.7 x 6.1 cm, fitting comfortably in a pocket or toiletry bag. The closed-comb die-cast zinc head is galvanised and coated with polished chrome, making it corrosion-resistant and easy to clean.

The short screw-type, three-piece design can be taken apart and reassembled in moments, even while travelling. The cowhide case protects the razor from scratches and knocks. The shaving quality matches that of Merkur razors used at home, with no compromise on the road.
