The Merkur Solingen 47C is a safety razor with a closed-comb head, polished chrome plating and a long screw-type handle; 10.5 x 4.2 x 2.5 cm, supplied with 1 Merkur Super razor blade.

The 47C pairs Merkur's closed-comb head with a longer (10.5 cm) handle: the larger grip is more comfortable for bigger hands and gives more precise control around the contours of the face (chin, jawline, under the nose), where the razor can be guided steadily even on small areas.

The three-piece, short screw-type construction makes blade changes easy. The closed-comb head gives a predictable, gentle cut, also recommended for sensitive skin. The polished chrome finish is durable and easy to clean. Supplied in a cardboard box with 1 Merkur Super razor blade.
