The Wüsthof 7299 plastic cutting board: large size, 530 × 325 × 4 mm, made of black, scratch-resistant TPU.

The 7299 cutting board is made of flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU): the surface is scratch-resistant, does not absorb food odours and flavours, and can be used from –20 °C to +150 °C, so it can go straight into the fridge with the sliced food. The material is gentle on the knife edge and slows blade wear.

The large (530 × 325 mm) black board can be sterilised in the dishwasher and has an antibacterial surface, which is especially important when preparing meat and fish. Thanks to its flexibility, the board can be bent to tip chopped ingredients straight into a pot or bowl. An alternative to a beech wood board when sterilisation or dishwasher cleaning is the priority.
