918052 | Shaving Brush | Pure Badger | Acrylic | Black

The DOVO Solingen 918052 shaving brush has a hand-tied pure badger hair knot (the finest hair, from the badger's underbelly) and a black acrylic handle; it is 10.8 cm tall with a knot diameter of 3.7 cm.

Pure badger is the top of the badger hair hierarchy: the hair from the badger's underbelly is dense, resilient and fine, holds a large amount of lather and spreads it evenly on the skin. It also lathers shaving cream effectively, while the brush massages the lather into the skin and softens the stubble. Hand-tied hairs spring back more resiliently and last longer than machine-made knots.

The black acrylic handle is smooth and resistant to grease and moisture, easy to wipe dry and does not absorb steam. The 3.7 cm knot works comfortably on the face with circular movements; at 3.7 × 3.7 × 10.8 cm it fits a standard shaving tray or soap dish.
