Dovo Astrale straight razor with a carbon steel blade, an ebony handle with an engraving plate, a 5/8" full hollow round point and nickel silver decoration, 15.9 × 2.4 × 1.1 cm: a more richly decorated, collectable model than the Prima series.

The distinguishing feature of the Astrale is the nickel silver (alpacca) engraving plate set into the side of the handle with a unique engraved motif, which makes the razor a collectable item suitable as a gift. Ebony is a natural material, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike in colour and pattern; the variation is not a manufacturing defect but the uniqueness of the material.

The 24-carat gold plating on the blade is a decorative element that does not affect cutting performance. The full hollow blade and round point give the same shaving experience as the Prima series.
