Dovo Bergischer Löwe straight razor with a 1.2210 carbon steel blade, African cattle horn handle and 24-carat gold-plated decoration: 5/8", full hollow, Spanish point. 61 HRC. 15.8 × 2.3 cm.
The Dovo Bergischer Löwe uses a 1.2210 carbon steel blade hardened to 61 HRC, 5/8" wide, with a full hollow grind and a Spanish (round) point. The 24-carat gold-plated decoration appears on both the blade and the handle. Dimensions: 15.8 cm long, 2.3 cm blade width.
The African cattle horn handle is a natural material: every piece varies in colour and grain, which is part of its uniqueness, not a manufacturing defect. Horn feels warm to the touch and gives a pleasant grip. The carbon steel blade requires regular maintenance on a strop. Made in Solingen.

Care & sharpening
After use, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Only Swibo and explicitly dishwasher-safe models may go in the dishwasher. Store in a wooden block or on a magnetic strip; keep blades from touching each other.
Maintain the edge with a whetstone or honing steel; professional sharpening once a year is recommended. Do not cut frozen food, bone, or on hard ceramic surfaces.
