Fischer Diamond diamond honing steel with an oval cross-section, a 27 cm honing surface and a coarse diamond coating, 310 g: a professional sharpening tool for chefs and butchers.

The Fischer Diamond honing steel is a stainless steel rod coated with natural diamond particles, which removes material much faster than a traditional steel honing rod. The 27 cm working surface is long enough for long butcher's and chef's knife blades in a single stroke.

The oval cross-section allows a versatile hold: the grip can be adjusted for knives with both shallower and steeper edge angles. The weight of 310 g gives stability while sharpening. The coarse surface efficiently restores a dull edge; it is worth finishing the job afterwards with a fine rod or a strop.
