Mammoth ivory is a unique raw material in the world of straight razors: the tusks of Ice Age woolly mammoths recovered in Siberia have undergone a process of fossilisation, which results in a distinctive brownish-cream pattern and exceptional hardness. As only limited quantities are available, every razor is unique; no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

The 5/8" full hollow carbon steel blade is the thinnest and sharpest traditional straight razor profile, and it can be kept sharp over the long term with regular stropping and occasional hand honing. Together with its wooden presentation box, it is a handcrafted piece of collectable value, both for a collection and for everyday straight razor shaving.
