The Opinel No.06 is one of the most widespread pocket knives in the world: simple, reliable and timeless. Its stainless steel blade and fine walnut handle represent the traditional Opinel design. The Virobloc safety locking ring ensures comfortable and safe handling in everyday use.

For more than 130 years, the Opinel No.06 has won over outdoor enthusiasts and everyday pocket knife users alike with an unchanged formula for success. The fine walnut handle, with its warm brown grain, gives the knife a classic, timeless look. The stainless steel blade needs no special maintenance and performs reliably in damp conditions and rain.

The Virobloc rotating-ring lock holds the blade firmly when open and keeps it securely closed. Opinel knives were designed by Joseph Opinel in the French Alps in 1890; since then the company has made these distinctively shaped knives in the same small Savoyard town, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.
