The Vulkanus ERSTVAPG2 replacement sharpening insert is compatible only with the Classic VG2 and Professional VG2 Generation 2 models. Its fine 1000–3000 grit sharpening surface gives the best results in the fine sharpening and polishing stage.
An easily replaceable original part from the Austrian manufacturer Vulkanus; after replacement, the VG2 sharpener's full performance is restored.

Care & sharpening
After use, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. Only Swibo and explicitly dishwasher-safe models may go in the dishwasher. Store in a wooden block or on a magnetic strip; keep blades from touching each other.
Maintain the edge with a whetstone or honing steel; professional sharpening once a year is recommended. Do not cut frozen food, bone, or on hard ceramic surfaces.
